Welcome to the PA.
The Parent Association is a volunteer organization open to all ECC parents and primary caregivers. We host monthly meetings to help families stay connected to the school, give parents a chance to chat directly with school leadership, and learn about all of the exciting events planned for the ECC. And the more parents who get involved, the bigger and more exciting those opportunities can be!

Liz Sczudlo
Co-President
I'm excited to be returning for a second year as Co-President of the PA! My daughter, Nora Bravman, is a Sprig in the ECC, and my older daughter, Gwen - now a first grader - is an ECC graduate.
As a working mom, I'm passionate about helping parents find ways to get involved that fit into their daily lives. Our mission for the PA is to create a space where caregivers can show up however feels best to them... whether that means simply reading updates at home or coming in daily to volunteer. Please know - if you want to be a part of the Parent Association, we'll find a way to make it work!
When I'm not busy with the PA, you can find me writing and producing television as proud member of the Writers' Guild of America.
Talia Machlouf

Hi! I’m Talia, proud mom to three kids, and I’m honored to serve as your ECC PA Co-President. My two older boys, Liav and Shaiah, are ECC grads and current VBS Day School students, and my daughter,
Emmi, is a Sprig in the ECC.
I believe some of the best parts of preschool happen outside the classroom - through friendships, family involvement, and the incredible sense of community we build together. I’m looking forward to creating meaningful opportunities for our families to connect, supporting our incredible teachers and staff, and helping make our ECC community a warm, welcoming place for everyone.
Kenny Bravman
Treasurer
Happy to introduce myself as the outgoing PA secretary and the first-ever PA treasurer, a new role this year. It's my job to support the PA and our committee chairs with budgeting and behind-the-scenes logistics, including the creation of various surveys, forms, and databases that keep the PA on top of the community's changing needs.
I also happen to be married to our PA Co-President, Liz, and enjoy my role as co-parent to the Sprig and 1st grader mentioned above. When I'm not balancing the PA Budget, you can find me doing rocket science.
Allison Cantor

Hi! I’m Allison, PA Secretary and mom to three: Milo and Leni, two ECC grads, and Zev, our current Sprig.
As secretary, I'll be sending notes from every PA meeting out to the parent community, so that folks who can't make it can learn about the great stuff we're doing and hear about ways to get involved. I'm also the primary liaison between the PA and your classroom Room Parents.
I’m excited to help make this year a great one for our community!

The spiritwear shop sells ECC-branded clothing and accessories for kids and adults. With new drops year-round, you can show your VBS pride in every season!
Party Book Events!
Party Books are adults-only, parent-hosted events that bring our community together and raise funds for the ECC. Host families plan a party or gathering, cover the costs (either solo or by teaming up with other families), and set the number of available spots. Tickets are sold to attend the event, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to supporting our VBS ECC.
